So what is your favourite then??

This was tricky as I do have a soft spot for centaurs....but I think ultimately it does have to be vampires, as they are the subject I enjoy writing about most.

It's a shame that we can only vote for one as I have two...Witch and Vampire! Witch for the different spells and the fact it's a wonderful adaptable character to work with, Vampire for the sex appeal and the fact again you can interpret the character any way you like. Both are fantastic to work with!

As a Huge Buffy and Lost Boys fan, I was pretty certain I'd vote for Vampire. But really thinking about it I realized that as much as I like stories about them, the book that hooked me on the fantastic as a genre is definitely The Hobbit. So I had to vote elf. With The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in my soul; I was forever inclined to read stories about all of the other beings you put on the list. So I had to vote Elf. Just to give Tolkien his due.
