Issue Four is now out and copies are on their way to contributors now.
So once you have your issue I hope you will let us know what you thought of it. What were your favourite bits?

First of all I would like to congratulate Teresa on Ethereal Tales. Excellent production values and the magazine has a real feel to it along with having a wide range of stories. A great achievement.

To introduce myself I am a short story writer and have been published in various places and have stories coming up in Morpheus Tales, Jupiter and All Hallows. I am interested in all sorts of writing and my idea of the genre encompasses much that falls under the wide definition of 'fantasy' (dark fantasy, horror, science fiction, gothic fiction). Favourite authors include Mervyn Peake, Steve Erickson (the Californian one, author of 'Tours of the Black Clock') Samuel R. Delany, Poe, Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Dickens, Borges... Actually as soon as I start making a list it becomes slightly meaningless and could go on and on....

Anyway, love to hear other peoples views and literary interests, thoughts about genre and related matters.

Welcome to the forum Gary and thanks for your thoughts.
I am glad you are happy with the way the zine turned out, I realise it is always a bit of an unknown sending your story off to a zine you have not seen before and I'm happy that you weren't disappointed with the results.

I am really impressed with the magazine. I love the cover art, as well as the art inside, especially "The Ruins." The stories are a nice mix of horror and fantasy, and although I haven't had time to read them all yet, the one's I have such as "Emma O' the Gloamings" and "The City of Sarkomand" are great. Other people that have borrowed it, have also said they found it very entertaining. Congratulation Teresa, on a great issue. I'm proud to have "Angelina" appear in it.
