Hello!

I live "across the pond" and my first Ethereal Tales story is appearing in the April issue: My Pretty Pony which is an apocalyptic tale of the world ending through a plague of cute.

If you would like to see my other publishing credits, visit my blog: http://literary-equine.livejournal.com/profile

As far as personal info, I'm happily married, just having celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary with three sons who think their old man is rather odd. I'm a retired stage magician/security guard/park ranger/computer salesman and presently serve a church near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania as a pastor and as a counselor majoring in mood disorders.

My goal, however, is to become a full-time writer, a goal I have been told by many professional writers is almost impossible. Fortunately, I'm not that intelligent to heed friendly warnings and the delusion of someday meeting my dream keeps me typing away.

Though Ethereal Tales is a 4theLuv market, I so much enjoy working with Teresa, I hope you'll see some of my other tales and maybe even some of the darker literary dreams I pursue.

'Sinister Minister' definately has a wonderful ring to it, and I like the idea of the world ending under a plague of cute. I hopy my avatar isn't making you feel too nervous....
The world isn't written in black and white. Other shades lie between.
Don't view the world with binary eyes. We are human not machine.

Announcements from My World

Postby alan_loewen on Mon Jun 07, 2010 1:26 pm

I would like to announce that Dyads, the sequel to Mask of the Ferret is going to be released in the Twilight Times Press anthology, Infinite Space, Infinite God II in August/September.

Dyads is co-written with author Ken Pick and as it is novella-length, it takes up 1/3 of the anthology.

I will be doing a public reading of Dyads at http://www.capclave.org/capclave/capclave10/ in October.

Also, I will be leading a seminar on stage and parlor magic at Anthrocon (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on June 25th.

I regret to announce that Twilight Times Press has delayed the release of ISIG2 and it appears that no release date is presently being announced. Since I was already paid for the work, I don't mind, but at this point, I have no "big thing" to show at CapClave.

It appears the economy here "across the pond" is killing a lot of anthologies. I had a work coming out in some anthology called the Chicago Overcoat Anthology and that is now nothing but vaporware. Such is the life of a writer.

However, I hope to release some AWESOME news in the future concerning my signature work, Coventry House. That is going to be exciting.

Sorry to hear about the delayed release, and the other anthology disappearing. As you say I think it is a sign of the times that many small press concerns are falling by the wayside, hopefully Ethereal Tales won't suffer the same fate.

Fingers crossed all goes well and you get to announce your awesome news very soon. I'll be in touch ;)
